Costs and Deadlines

The program fee to attend the International Literary Program is $1,950.

In addition to the workshops, this fee includes admittance to all DISQUIET program events: additional lectures and craft talks, readings, the Portuguese Literature and Culture lecture series, literary walks, receptions, numerous meetings with Portuguese writers and artists, social events, free or heavily discounted guided excursions to Sintra and Cascais, and much more. The program fee does not include airfare or accommodations.

Deadlines

There is no deadline to apply to the program—and spaces may open up at anytime—but participants are urged to apply early to secure a place in their preferred workshop.

A $150USD deposit is required with the application. Deposit and all payments to the ILP are fully refundable in the event you are not admitted to the program, the program is cancelled, or you withdraw by the withdrawal deadline of March 15, 2013.

January 31, 2013 - Contest and scholarship deadline.

March 15, 2013 - Second payment of $300USD is due. Deadline to withdraw from the program and receive 100% refund. After this date only recoverable costs will be refunded in the event a participant withdraws.

April 15, 2013 - Payment in full is due.
