Paula Cosme Pinto was a journalist at Expresso weekly newspaper for 10 years and is currently a communications consultant. She has maintained her opinion column “A Vida de Saltos Altos” on Expresso’s website, where, since 2015, has written regular analyses on the challenges of gender equality. Along the way, she published ‘Os Segredos da Maleta Vermelha’ , a shameless book about the sexuality of Portuguese women, and launched the podcast ‘Um Género de Conversa’, in partnership with writer Patrícia Reis, which won the ‘Voices 2022’ Award and, in 2024, was voted the best podcast of the year on ‘Social Issues’, both at the PODES – Podcast Festival. In the same duo, she made her debut on Rádio Comercial with the podcast ‘Um (outro) Género de Conversa’, which focuses on masculinities. In addition to her monthly column ‘Adam’s Rib? No’, in the newspaper Meios & Publicidade, she also writes opinion articles in the magazines Máxima and Visão. An activist for women’s rights, she has taken reflection on diversity and equality to schools, in debates and on social media.
