Ana Cláudia Santos’s first collection of stories, A Morsa – Contos de Inocência e de Violência, was released in 2022. She has translated authors such as Carlo Collodi, Giacomo Leopardi, Italo Svevo, Sergio Solmi, Carlo Levi and Fleur Jaeggy. She has a PhD in Theory of Literature from the University of Lisbon and dedicates herself to the study of Giambattista Vico, whose autobiography she translated.
