Ana Bárbara Pedrosa is the author of the novels “Lisboa, Chão Sagrado” (2019, finalist for the Fundação Eça de Queiroz literary prize), “Palavra do Senhor” (2021) and “Amor estragado” (2023), as well as a book of travel literature forthcoming this year. Pedrosa is a columnist for the newspaper Mensagem de Lisboa, writes literary reviews for Observador, and copywrites for Wook. She has advanced degrees in Human Sciences, Portuguese Studies, Linguistics, Economics and Public Policies, and Applied Languages. She has received fellowships from the European Union and Fullbright Commission to study in Brazil and the United States. Pedrosa is also part of the reflection group “The future has already begun,” a space for reflection on major national and global projects with the President of the Republic. Bárbara Pedrosa speaks six languages. She has taught, translated, and worked as a linguist. Currently, she dedicates herself exclusively to writing.
