Ana Cláudia Santos

Ana Cláudia Santos was born in 1996 and is a Portuguese poet whose work explores the mystery of life and death. She is the author of “Meia-Vida” (2020), “O Espectro” (2024, Casa Florbela Espanca Editions), and “Ultra-Passado” (2025, Ofélia), and the curator of the anthology “Fábricas de Novas Almas” (2023, Caminho das Palavras). In 2021, she won the national “New Talent” award as a poet (Revista NiT, TVI, Santa Casa da Misericórdia). In 2022, she launched the poetry podcast “Multiversos” (Revista NiT) and founded the poetry and music events project “Sala Incomum.” In 2023, she became poet-in-residence at Casa Florbela Espanca. Her poetry has been presented at various venues and festivals across Portugal. At the end of 2025, she had her first performance abroad at the Katharsis Festival, in Barcelona.   Photo credit: Joana César
